Postby btcshields6 » Sun Aug 23, 2009 8:09 pm

This is my first tutorial so please be nice.

Ok, let's open up Blender, delete the default cube and add a UVsphere. Push ok and then in the editing panel push set smooth. Go into front view and move the sphere down on the Z axis 2 blender units.

Click set smooth. Go into the objects panel and then to the physics buttons. Click on cloth and change the type to silk. Go to the collision tab and click enable selfcollisions. Go into the collisions tab by Fields and push the collision button. Now, select the sphere and go into the collisions tab by Fields and push the collision button. Switch to camera view and hit bake. When it is done baking you can push alt+a to play back the bake.

holding down control (or command on a mac, i believe) constrains it to 1 BU (blender units) increments in motion, 15 degree increments in rotation, and a whole number in scaling. basically, in this case, it makes sure it's exactly 5 times as large (10 BU wide)
