My first gig. Ever.

Postby lolipopman » Fri Feb 05, 2010 4:25 pm

So, as I mentioned in the Lie to me thread, I had a small gig today. And, yeah, was I any good?

I'd, uh, learn to play the song at tempo before trying to do it live.

I liked it when the drums and everything else started to come in.
You should do a better recording though because the quality is kinda low.
Cool stuff :D

edit - could you tell the drummer to record some drum loops for me to use? :D

hey man stick with it! What kind of guitar and set up are you using? You got more guts than I do. Most people do not even know I play. I am real nervous about playing in front of people.

A little slow, but not bad for your first gig.

Amazing song choice! +500000000 for that lol. I love Guns N' Roses.

No offence man but you need to work on that begining solo a bit, Slash was awesome so he's hard to mimic. Speed it up just a tad as well and the tempo was off.
The girl needs to sing A LOT louder. You guys are covering a song sung by Axle, so yea lol she needs to bring a lot more energy to it.
Drummer was alright.
Overall nice man. I'ma leave a comment on this vid on youtube and update me on your gigs. Especially if they are GNR covers.
